Claire!!!! It is so good to see your message and hear from you! :-))))) I am in NYC today, finishing up a conference at Fordham University. You look marvelous darling!!! Your photo is smashing, and your words of healing and life are SO encouraging. I am totally DELIGHTED and full of thanksgiving to hear what is happening with you and your daughter. Bless you, dear! Steph
PS: Claire, you can't possibly be in your forties!!!!! (Is that a picture of your daughter?!?!?). Wow, the light of the Lord just radiates through you -- even through a photo! PTL!
Hope to meet you and your husband sometime. Glad you guys are in the area.
I am a writer. I write on making disciples and church planting. It is definately New York Times bestselling stuff (smiles). I am currently writing on the concept of gospel poverty. You guys can check out the concept at www.gospelpoverty.com.
Thank you very much for your comment, Claire. I'm happy that you are thinking about the millennium. That's a good starter. I encourage you to make a serious study of it; the Bible is our only textbook. The word of the kingdom (Matt. 13:19) is a message for the Christians, the already-saved. The unregenerate cannot appreciate it. Even then, the vast majority of Christians are not interested in it. Proof? The parable of the Sower is the proof among others in the Bible, but I will cite this my page. More comments are negative about my millennium question (one even described my "stuff" as "junk'!).
The word of the kingdom has to do with the salvation of the soul, not spirit (1 Pet. 1:9; James 1:21; Heb. 10:39; Matt. 16:24-28). Our life now -- how we live it -- has great bearing on our life in the future. You said that you would love to live through the milennium. The good news is, we are being offered exactly life in the kingdom of the heavens in the millennium. We therefore have to hear the message of the word and UNDERSTAND it now so we can know how to live now -- and what to believe and hope for ("we are saved by hope," [I just forgot the exact verse]). Believe me, this topic is vitally important for us. I'd like to send you a 119-page book, large print, that discusses the book of Hebrews and the salvation of the soul, by . . . I also forgot the name of the author! . . . If you will send me your email address I will forward it to you from my recycle bin. My email address is displayed on the byline of my millennium article; you may contact me by email. And please don't be afraid of giving me your email address -- I won't abuse it. Until then . .
Brother in Christ,
Edgardo
P.S. I will be leaving in a few hours to a nearby province. I need a rest for a week or two. I have a disease that necessitates it. But I will be able to visit an internet cafe to see if you have replied to this. Thanks.
Thank you for the encouragement and the great story you shared. I am very encouraged by people's responses over the past couple of years to the gospel poverty call. It has picked up momentum. The Spirit has spoken it to quite a few folks and has just used me to give it description. Our apostolic team is on board, many in our network of simple churches, and even some from other places in the world are walking alongside me in this endeavor. Please pray as the book the Lord has me writing on this is progressing slowly. You are a joy to Jesus!

Question to ponder: Is the millennium doctrine now obsolete and unimportant? Please see www.bibleone.net/TheMillennium.htm. Thank you.
