Hello. Revelations about Jesus are the best! I hope you have found what you are looking for regarding this question and I thought I share my peace. If you take a look in Gen. 19 we find the Lord judging Sodom and in vs.24 "Then the LORD…

Thank you Randy for that excellent explanation. I believe when Mosis asked the Lord for his senders name the Lord Himself made it clear in "I AM" that He couldn't be lowered with a name as other false gods were . Praise God there is…

Eric, you have given the answer of the ages... blessings on the man who knows his God. Who Jesus is, in truth, makes quite a bit of difference. It defines where he goes and what he does. His sheep do know his voice, and they know his name. The…

I received this email today and thought it was so insightful and hit the nail on the head in its unique message. Your comments?

THE BUZZARD:

If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is entirely open at the top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is its habit, it will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a… Continue

Hello All and God bless you
I'm new to Simple Church but am familiar to the House Church concept. I am interested in joining a local house church meeting but I've not had an easy time finding one to date. My search skills are not the greatest on the internet so I need a little help finding where folks are meeting in my area. To date, i have found nothing here in Georgetown.
To give you some background on me, I am retired after working 27 years for the federal government in the information systems field. I worked for the Army & Air Force Exchange System (AAFES) which is basically a retail business providing goods and services the Army and Air Force and recently I believe we now also serve the Navy. i began my career as a computer programmer and retired a section chief. I feel blessed to have worked in a field I loved all my life instead of a job I hated.
I retired in 1995 and worked for 5 years as a contract programmer thanks to the Y2K crisis that came to an end in 2000. Since then I live in a retirement community known as Sun City set up for active seniors 55 and older.
I have come to know the house church concept by accident when I by sheer chance found the web site "www.theearlychurch.com" hosted and written by Clifford James.
I have studied his "Sound Doctrine" and "The Blueprint" and found them to be wonderful sources of easy to understand doctrines of the Bible. Cliff's keen insight and Godly devotion rings clear through every page. I love Cliff's introduction to his sound doctrine web page in which he gives the reader a head's up as to what his book is all about and requests the readers help for edification and correction based on bible principles-- see below for complete write up

My eventual goal is to start a house church here in Sun City

My sincere love to all you brothers and sisters as we all are brothers and sisters from Adam and Eve if you believe the Bible.

Hello Brother Dan,

In response to your comment. The Lord has spoken and has showed us that we are to fear Him so that we may have His wisdom. When we think of fear... we think of the worst extreme acts of fear but not consider that we all act out of fear. Heck, everyone is casting their vote for president out of fear. We serve who we fear. Many of us will not approach our boss with our opinion because we may get fired. The children of Israel were used for our example and they did not fear the Lord. It took them one day after the Lord settled the rebellion of Korah for them to start blaming God again! Those who fear our Lord Jesus Christ will live a life magnifying Him as Lord rather than Savior. He's the Savior for all man but only Lord to those who fear Him. It is because we don't fear Him that we have many opinions to offer Him and that we think we can justify ourselves before His Almighty Presence. A father doesn't have to remind his children to fear him if he acts out of love. A father disciplines his children of which should always be out of love. Grace and peace.

Amen. Thank you for your kind words. Truly you are an encouragement because you accept His word over your understanding. You have exemplified faith in its purest form. Now let me share the example of the fear of God. The Grand Canyon is an awesome sight to see in person. Fear overcomes me when I stay behind the rails overlooking its beauty. I dare not test the boundaries set by its cliff. Now imagine how awesome and fearful its Creator is. Love you brother. Grace and peace.

Hi Dan,
I'm Edgar from the Philippines. I'd like to invite you to read my article at www.bibleone.net/TheMillennium.htm. The millennium doctrine is vital for Christians to understand. It has to do with the word of the kingdom and the salvation of the soul, not spirit (1 Pet. 1:9; James 1:21; Heb. 10:39; Matt. 16:24-28). I'd appreciate a comment, but you are not obligated.
Thanks,
Edgar Meneses

Thank you very much, Dan for replying and for reading my article. That's a mere introduction. I'd like to offer you a 275-page book, large print, which I'm reading for the third time. Title is "Shock & Surprise Beyond the Rapture" by Gary T. Whipple. The book discusses in-depth the word of the kingdom (Matt. 13:19). If you have not read the book I'll forward it to you if you would give me your email address. Please don't be afraid of giving me your email address; I won't abuse it. I've forwarded the book to 5 SC members and I've not emailed them again after I've sent them the book. If you will have the book I suggest that you read it more than once, for it contains meats and strong meats (Heb. 5:14) that will need good chewing and mastication.
Yours truly, brother in Christ,
Edgar
P.S. I have another article at www.rapturealert.com/doesbibleteachpretrib.html. This 2005 article needs revising. But no harm reading it. Just note that I do not now hold to the implication in the first paragraphs that only the faithful will be raptured and that the 24 elders represent the Church.

Hello Dan,

You probably got my message that the airport in Bangkok is shut down due to government protestors, so the trip to Myanmar had to be postponed.
I do plan to be at Journey Sunday AM.

Blessings,

Walt
