Virtually walking into the catacombs. Seeing on either side as I go, the graves of Christians and peasants who were either not allowed to buried topside because of their social/religious, status, or could not afford to buy land for burial.

What do these ancient graves tell me? They are not just un-marked resting places, but many bear the names of their occupants, and many have religious art, or depictions of the person… Continue
