And the word became Flesh

Psalm 55:6

Oh that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest- I would fly away and be at rest. I would flee far away and stay int he desert: I would hurry to my place of sheldter far from the tempest and storm.

It seems in this day and age, it is way to easy to go from one obligation to the next, the next and the next. Then I arrive to a neglected home that has no rest in it either. Only a list of unattended needs and chores that… Continue

My Pie Season

8/3/09 Seems to me life has it's seasons. Since I'm personally very fond of a good rut, and find change greatly annoying, if not very painful. I find the whole season thing is a great bother for me. So you may see that the changes the Lord allows in our lives aren't always welcomed.

Now I'm at the beginning of a new season. I'm busy packing up my buisness, since I'm closing the current commercial buisness location and moving it into my home. I can see alot the benifits, but I'm still… Continue

Amazing site

From everything I've seen this site is amazing. It would appear to be the most interactive site I've come across. I'm excited to have a chance to fellowship, even online with others on this journey. I've found it difficult locally to find other house churches in our area. We're hoping to find others that would be open to joint worship and fellowship times.

We've been meeting for about 4 years with 1 other family consistantly, 1 other less consistantly and a single individual just joined… Continue

About me

I'll be 47 this coming Friday.

I'm a small buisness owner. I've a sewing studio. I teach sewing from beginning to dressmaking and design. I also always have more alterations and dressmaking clients than I can keep up with. I've 3 grown children, and a 4 year old. (who says God doesn't have a since of humor.)

I've been married to my sweet husband for 5 years. While I was a single parent for 15 plus years I worked as a seamstress/business owner and then for 8 years as an executive… Continue

Hi Sherry. I do live in Kuwait but I'm not in the military. I'm a teacher. I teach the Kuwait military soldiers English but we use all military topics. It's actually a college. I am trying to start a Home church but I am very new to this. Presently I am reading 5 of Frank Viola's books . Great books ! They coincide with the www.cluonline.com . I guess I am in the "reading" stage of a Home Church but looking forward to it all. My pastor says I need a mentor. Not so sure I agree with him but if it makes him happy, I'll do it. Besides I won't go into this alone. Always Blessed, Dwayne

How was Sharon's surgery? Hope all went well. Got a brief call from Brendon in Germany, this morning and our reception was better than when he was in Attabury Indiana. He said he likes it there, in Hohenfeis.
Talk at ya later!

Hi,
We love living in Russellville. It is a great place to raise a family. The hardest thing is that there is no one doing home church here. The institution church is very strong here. I know right were Bakers Creek is. As a matter of fact, I interviewed to be their youth group leader when I was in college (early 90's).
