Simple Church Leader's Gathering

Yesterday I attended a gathering of leaders or simple churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. David Underwood of Keller Texas hosted the event. It was a chance to see a few people I love and meet a whole lot of other people I had never met before.

What gear are you in?

Cars and trucks have a connection device between the motor and the wheels called a "transmission". This box of gears and belts in oil engages the wheels when a "clutch" is used to link the motor through a certain one of the gears. The Heart of a True Shepherd

The Apostle' Paul’s expressions of pastoral love towards his many flocks are poignant. But these words of love are tragically lacking in the church today. We have fallen so far from the pinnacle of pastoral (shepherd’s) love that it is not even expected anymore.
