When our daughters were young they often liked to play “church”. It was interesting how they concluded which role each of them would hold. I don’t recall there ever being any prayers said to guide them in their determinations. Instead, the decisions were made according to perceived abilities.…

Campaigning For Clarity
It would be such a blessing if we would all strive to be a little more careful about our writing by making fewer mistakes. When so many words are misspelled or left out, it is difficult to fully understand what is being said. Just take a minute and double check. It's worth the effort, causes you to be taken more seriously, and allows God to be glorified through His children. Going higher...

THE CLOTHING OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST
“’Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.’ (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of
the saints.)” Rev. 19:7-8…

It breaks my heart every time I hear someone conclude that they feel as though they have messed-up so badly that Jesus could never forgive them. Psalm 103:3 says, “He forgives all your sins”! There are no exceptions! Jesus will never turn away a truly repentant heart. Psalm 103:4 goes on to say that Jesus “redeems your life from the pit.” It doesn’t matter how far you have…

My wife lost her brother to Alzheimer's a few weeks ago. One of her sisters-in-law and one of her brothers-in-law seem to be losing their battles with cancer. My brother may lose his house. A man in our fellowship is suffering from seizures and facing brain surgery to remove damaged parts of his brain. I had a long talk today with a man I used to consider a best friend. We tried to discuss why that has slipped away and I am not sure how that went. The 17 year old son of the Best Man at our…

A wing starting to develop.
Although I admit to stumbling, Last night was the begginning of a new chapter in my walk. I realize that in reflection that it is important to connect, and to put love out there. One brother in particular spoke that he was in everyone in the room and I hadnt thought of that. Makes me feel less like…
