Take Up Your Cross
Take up your cross Jesus did say
He was showing us the Fathers way
To the death of the flesh isn’t all we see
It’s a way of making us free
Off the cross after death,
This is the place Jesus found rest
He came to lie within a tomb…

Abraham, the tenth generation from Noah.
The next man is Abram meaning “Exalted Father.” God found this man in a most unlikely place, in a heathen country worshipping idols, and involved with the most barbaric idolatry in the worship of a god called Moloch. The name “Moloch” means King, and is the name of the national god of the Ammonites, who…

++++Family Love++++
Well. I love you all and keep you all near and dear to my heart, which is in Christ.
Praying to keep us all right in His sight.
Never shall we fall apart.
For we triumphant over all in the dark.
As we have come to know the power in Christ.
Like a butterfly emerging from the catapilar.
From the metaphor of transitions we all have come to live for CHRIST!
Now, we all have the gift of eternal Life.
With all my love never to…

When my husband, Gary shared with me an analogy that the Lord had placed upon his heart regarding the mixing of good and evil in our celebration of Christ’s birth, I felt strongly that it was meant to be shared with others. So…I invited him to share it with you….
CHRISTMAS!--Just the mention of that word has always brought a stirring of excitement within me. The reasons for that have changed and matured over the years. The typical anticipation of a child lost…

Worship
I did something tonight I have not done for a long time, if ever. Instead of just praying on my bed or kneeling by the bed, I decided I needed to humble myself and get down on the floor on my face, prostrate before the Lord. I believe I need to take that position more frequently. I searched "worship" on biblegateway.com the other night, and almost every verse I saw pertaining to worship involved people falling to the ground, face down to worship the Lord. I got to thinking about what we have…

Rom 9
22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?
23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy,
Lord, You…

QT – Romans 8
30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Lord, thank You for setting me on a course to be conformed to the image Jesus, for personally inviting me to be in Christ Jesus, declaring me redeemed and alive to You through Christ Jesus, and bragging on, speaking well of, and honoring me verbally.
You have done this, are doing this and will continue to do this;…

QT 12-15-2010
Theological oneness tells me who I am in Christ, while relational oneness allows me to live our oneness out in this world.
I have His laws written on my heart, as well as having the mind of Christ. The old man has died and all things have become new, therefore I am a new creation. I no longer live, but Christ lives in me and the life I live in the flesh I live by the faith of Jesus Christ.
Oneness is not sameness. Oneness simply means that ‘I can do all…

Theological oneness bears the staleness of the Law. Relational oneness radiates the life of Spirit.
I need them both. One renews the mind, the other initiates life.

THINKING...
Introduction:
When I first started a Christian school some 30 years ago I was part of a denomination. Having got the operation of the ground and very quickly some 160 children being educated with us, I was naive enough to believe that if I could do this, lots of other would too. My thinking was that me who only has a Road Safety colouring certificate can do this what could others who are clever than me do.
Picture my horror…

I read today in Rom 6. Below is my personal response to My Lord in our relationship, may it be a blessing and an encouragement to those who take the time to read it. May your relational intimacy, with Him, ooze from you as sap from a pine tree. May those who come around you, today, leave your presence with the sticky on them.
17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to …

Going Deep...
If you remember learning about icebergs in Elementary or Middle School you know that what you see sticking out of the water is only a small fraction of the whole thing.
Over the last 2 years I have walked through a major change in ministry. God began some things in the church I serve that have caused me to take a fresh and new look at my faith, my theology, my walk, and my views of what the church is and does. This has been an incredible journey of discovery. However, not…
