But the righteous shall live by faith. Romans 1:17

The reminder came gently to me as I lay my head on the pillow, exhausted from a full day; my head full of thoughts and wondering, considerings and musings.

The Holy Spirit continued exposing my heart to me.

In a flash, I understood that earlier in the day, I had been denying my very own petition before Him by the words of my mouth. I was not standing in the faith that He would do as He promised He would: give wisdom, undertanding, and guidance to me on my path.

I immediately repented. "Forgive me, Lord. You DO give wisdom - without finding fault with the one who requests it. I was wrong to consider and speak that You were not doing so. Please, reposition me, that I might receive Your counsel in this matter. This time, I shall agree with Your Word, instead of my circumstance."

I am happy to report that today, the Lord's first interaction with me appeared in the manner of His Word, jumping off the page of my Bible, greeting me like a neon sign, encouraging me to move forwaard with my plan to seek His wisdom, and trust His Word above all else.

"Yes, Lord. I shall!"

It is good to have a walking talking relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Your story encouraged me to read the Word more often
