Ben, one idea would be to follow the example shown in Matthew chapters 9 and 10. In 9 Jeus talks about the harvest, and how its ready but the laborers are few. This is followed immediately in chapter 10 by his sending out those same ones he told to pray as the ones who were to go into towns, find a house of peace, enter in and tell the gospel of the kingdom to them. This means tell them what the kingdom is like, and establish in them the ability to live in it. Sooo... since you have been praying for one, it may be you are the one to be sent to start it.

I am new to simple church, and cannot reccommend (by experience) many of the related resources. However, there are a few really really good online resources that establish kingdom living in Jesus Christ that you can use to help. Bible study and teaching by Andrew Wommack www.awmi.net is excellent. Bible revelation and insight for kingdom living is life giving from the www.ibethel.org site and their pastor Bill Johnson. It may be an IC, but its different than most any I have ever seen. The culture of that house is more like family, and the resources allow their leaders to bring to us the reality of the kingdom of God in ways that small groups could not, so I don't avoid every IC. Bill has a site www.bjm.org . If you check out his media center and watch "The Aboslute Key" you will have an insight that will prosper the rest of your life!

Are you meeting with any people right now?

Are there any people who have a similar desire nearby?

What do sense to be the burden that the Lord is giving you regarding the process? IE: people are terribly ignorant of the teachings in the Bible, people are dying and going to hell and no one is making any real sacrifices to stop it, Believers need someone to help them organize into communities so that they have access to Life and strength from Jesus.

Be seriously blessed to be and do and have and know all that the Lord of the harvest has ordained you to!

Finding the answer to this will help you find out what other things you need happening to form something, or will maybe encourage you that you are the lightning rod God wants to put in a certain spot to draw His power to start a fire there.

What interaction is typical between you and other locals? Restaurants? Grocery stores?
