Do we divide ourselves from each other by participating in the world's system of VOTING?

All praise to God our LORD that the election in the USA is finally over. The LORD did not allow me to participate but only to observe what was going on with the Saints in the USA. What the Lord revealed to me is the condition of His people and how fleshy we are. I’m not speaking about the people of this world or of Americans… I’m speaking of those who call themselves a brother or a sister in Christ. I am so saddened to see our condition and the Lord recalled this scripture to me out of 2 Corinthians.

11Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others. But what we are is known to God, and I hope it is known also to your conscience. 12 We are not commending ourselves to you again but giving you cause to boast about us, so that you may be able to answer those who boast about outward appearance and not about what is in the heart. 13For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. 14For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; 15and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
16From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

What we have seen in the US Presidential election is that the world has been able to draw God’s people against each other based on politics, church denominations, race, culture, education, and economics. However, the only way the devil can consume us is if we invite him in. I’m not talking about the man, Barack Obama…. I’m talking about the system of this world that has been set up to enslave God’s people to build up its kingdom. Once again, God’s people are enslaved to build another Egypt not knowing that we have been freed by our Lord Jesus Christ.

In verse 12, we have been drawn to the devices of the world because of our focus on the outward appearance and not discerning what is in the heart... if there’s Christ in it or not. We are in the world but we are not to be ‘of’ it.

Verse 16, we do not see that our battles are not against flesh but against the principality and powers in the heavenly. Thus we are to no longer regard no one according to the flesh but to discern which spirit is leading them… the spirit of the world or the spirit of our Lord. How many of us continue to regard Christ according to the flesh? This means to only see Christ as a man on the cross as our savior rather than seeing Him spiritually as a man sitting on the throne in heaven as our LORD!

Saints, if we are in Christ… we are a new creation! We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession….. He isn’t talking about the citizens of the USA. Therefore, you can’t be any other race! There’s no such thing as an Asian, Black, Hispanic, Caucasian, or any other race + Church! We are of the one race and let him be accursed to preach that we are to remain as we were called and approach our Holy God as our old man. We are priests… our job is to lift others to Christ as we express Christ fully in our living. We are of a holy nation! Not a nation of man but of our Holy God!

The Lord has called many of us out of denominational institutions because of its nature to divide the Saints. However, the Lord has shown that if we partake the things of this world from being ‘in’ to ‘of’… I have practiced dividing myself from my brothers and sisters. Many of us have been made to believe that our right to vote will establish a leader to govern us. That is what the world has told us and we take it as truth. Have we considered that the world is serving a different god and that it purposes to have the Saints divide themselves from each other? We will hear a brother who voted for Obama expressing frustrations toward a sister who voted for McCain… I even hear that this is even occurring between a husband and his wife! How can we bring the things of this world into our household? Sure we may say that we don’t place hopes in our votes, so does that imply that we are acting without faith? Recall what sin in its essence is.

Now to those of us who feel that our lives are going to be so much better because of the new leadership that has been appointed. There is nothing of this world worthy of our Lord. The leaders of this world are of the world and their purpose is not to serve our Lord. The Anti-Christ will come to bring peace into the world without Christ. All men desire peace, joy, happiness, but discern where it’s coming from. A truly satanic worshipper is one who is intelligent, kind, patient, charismatic, loyal, noble, and admirable. This person expresses all of these qualities independent of our LORD. When the Anti-Christ comes, do not be deceived because he will use all the things of your old man to draw you to him.

To the Saints who feel as if there is nothing but doom and gloom ahead because of this new leadership. The Lord has put him as the leader of this nation but he is not the leader of ‘our’ nation. Regardless if the Lord appoints a communist, fascist, or a totalitarian… this leader will not prevail against the church. The Lord may have exposed you for expressing your hope in a man of this world. We may have said we didn’t have hope but our practice is what the Lord has desired to affect by giving us His Spirit. He didn’t give us His Spirit so that our thoughts and opinions would be enhanced but that we may live out His life. If you feel the world is getting darker, AMEN! Then we as His lights will only get brighter! When those in the dark look to you as a light… are you going to express your opinions and thoughts or show the light to Christ Jesus. Keep in mind this is not just spiritual but a practical manner.

To continue to 2 Corinthians 6….. “Working together with Him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” Repent and let’s continue to build the Body of Christ not just spiritually but let’s do it practically! To those who have an ear, listen to what the spirit says to the churches.
