We need to be very careful to really start to eat God's Word. We need to just be able to have it rise up for our warfare. It has to be second nature. I found myself having a very hard week. Now I feel very weak. I needed somethings to be second nature to come out of my heart and do the warfare.

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 (NASB)
4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,
6 and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.

I was studying and memorizing this when He showed me that I had been taking some junk captive that I should have destroyed. Immediately I realized that some of the crap I was holding captive like "junky thinking" was stuff I should have utterly destroyed. You know I have been working too hard and I feel sorry for myself. I should not have to suffer in this life.

So for the next few days I was asking for a strategy. I don't want some religious witchcraft (been there, done that and I think I still have the scars from that junk, it does not work) but I need the Fortress of My GOD! I was wonderfully answered today. I have been being really challenged to start to memorize and study pieces of scripture so that it is in my spirit and my mind when I need it. I have been rather lazy and made all kind of excuses about doing this.

We are coming on very difficult times folks and we need to start to prepare ourselves for it now. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses! We need to be like Caleb and take that city on the hill even though we are not young any more. Our God is the victor! We are in Him who loves us. He wants us to take new ground and become more like Him. So lets take that city on the Hill that is laid before us.

We are waring and if you are not waring you are not taking ground for God.

We need to learn to run to the Lord for He is a Strong Tower! He is our fortress.
