HIS EYES

Its when I know myself for real,
the arrogance, self sufficency,
His eyes are on the righteous,
are His eyes still looking at me.
My Spirit is not right,
my heart is full of pride,
will You look on me,
or say go wash make yourself
clean then come back to Me.
Having friends around me,
only saying things that make me happy.
No let them be the ones who tell me,
like it is, for it is the truth that sets me free.
You are my Father, I ask You to wash me,
forgive me again, Father I am sorry,
if I was fully Yours Father,
I would say of You,
to God be the Glory, Father in all
You say and do.
Tell me how to live holy,
when I want to do wrong.
To put to death the things
that oppose my destany,
to be restored and to remain,
belonging to thee.
Father once again take me
on Your knee, .
may I see your eyes once
again with compassion,
looking down at me.
