Everyone who is part of The Well has made a decision to walk away from traditional church as we know it and to walk towards a new mindset.  This house or “organic” church model that we are involved in can be hard to communicate to those who don’t understand it.
Recently I went on the Organic Church Movements page on Facebook and asked this question: If I were to ask you to give me the definition of Organic church in one sentence/paragraph, what would you say?
Here are a couple of the answers I received:
Ken - organic - go watch the grass grow - the forest - all the trees, plants, animals, bugs - how they interact and work together - and after a while - one may start to define "organic"
The presence of Jesus among His people called out as a spiritual family to pursue His mission on this planet.
Organic fruits and vegetables typically carry anywhere from 30 - 75% more nutrients than synthetically produced produce. Organic church life if done properly yields fruit "spiritual nutrients" along the same percentages, making it more authentic, free, "nutritious", and better for the church.
I would love to hear your definition of “Organic Church.” What does it mean to you? Why have you made the decision to walk down the road less traveled and not follow the crowd? Let me know.
Press on Church,
Ken

(Excuse my grammatical errors my first language is Spanish)
For me the church could be described as a thinking being, active and alive. Well defined by the apostle Paul. We are a body, not an organization. The beauty of being a living body is that our members interact with each other. Through each of the members of the church, which is the body of Christ, we are built in unit.
The quality of being organic is given by the functions of each of its members who in turn make the body work.
Growth in an organization can be quantitative but not qualitative. Everyone in an organization governed by guidelines imposed by a small group. In a living organism to the smallest cell is essential for proper functioning. Each member is closely linked with the others.

The organic church, defines the relationship of the body of Christ with the head that is our Lord and Savior. He builds his church through the rich supply passing through the joints of the body, meaning each of us his people. In the church there is organic unity, no member is disposed and drawn out. All we care for one itros as we do with our physical body.

I have an allegory to illustrate what the church is organic:
The doctor has diagnosed that one of our fingers the smallest has gangrene and must be an amputee, because otherwise it could contaminate the whole body. The first reaction is horror but then asked the doctor to do what you have to do. The doctor said that there was a possibility, but it is very painful. We replied that we are willing to do anything to save that little finger.

In this way the church must act organic, when one member hurts, so does the rest.
The organic church is a group of people gathered around Jesus in love and unity.

Bless you.
