That Christ the Glory of God might fill all things

That Christ the Glory of God might fill all things

Part 1

Hab 2:14 For the earth will be filled  With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.

The entire earth and those who inhabit it will adhere to, have reverence and respect for, become one in nature and in character with the weighty presence of God. There is often a mystical depiction of the Glory of God. At times I have seen posters with a light stating the glory of God. The Glory of God will be revealed in and through a company of people on the earth. Everything on earth will reflect the character of God.

Religion will always keep us busy without purpose. We will always be busy with our programmes so that we may think that we are not wasting time but may never accomplish the purposes for being put on the earth. A relationship with Father God on the other hand will open our eyes of understanding as to what it means being a son of God. Being a Christian is never following a religious order of ceremonial activities but taking care of Father’s business on the earth and at the same time allowing the Word of God to transform us by the renewing of our mind so that we may become more like Christ.

Rom 12:2  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Every time the Body of Christ meets it is more than just meeting so that we could be prayed for, or our needs to be met but there is something greater, an impartation, a revelation of Christ, that the Glory of God might fill all things.

Rom 1:11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established

To set a platform for my teaching I going to start with the first book in the bible

Gen 1:26-28 Then God said,"Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them,"Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

Let us remember that Adam and Eve lived in the presence of God and lacked nothing. They were clothed with the Glory of God and their task was to fill the entire earth with God’s Glory. There were four rivers that run through the garden that represented fruitfulness, increase, multiplication and breakthrough. The whole value of it was that Adam would express or give expression to the greatness or the Glory of God on the earth.

Besides the material blessings that they enjoyed, so when God BLESSED them what did He actually do? He gave man the knowledge, the wisdom, the ability , the power or empowered or enabled man to do what He created Him to do. To be fruitful and multiply. The Garden I place you in was created in glory, now your responsibility is to replenish the earth with glory.

Adam was not a baby. He did not have to be taught anything or go to seminary school. In that word BLESSED God had already given him the ability to rule and govern the earth.

Looking at one example when God created the animals for example the lion, God already knew what He had created. So that knowledge was imparted to Adam in the word BLESSED. When Adam named them he was in agreement with that which was already in the mind of God.
