The Lord blesses you as we promote corporate prayer in the Body of Christ. Times of prayer have been missing for a few days because of some technical problems we have been experiencing. Whenever I get an opportunity I watch the Christian channel on television. I am also encouraged by the messages of faith I watch and hear.
I noticed that there were certain preachers ministering to massive audiences and they would take the messages of faith and prosperity to real extremes. Everyday it is about you getting your breakthrough, or this is your season, you will not go home empty and at times God is about to open a door.
Is this the only reason that the Lord put us on the earth? That we would only be concerned how we can get more money to pay our bills, or what we are going to wear or eat? Going to a church meeting is more that just that. It is about gathering together to receive instruction about the Kingdom, Kingdom culture and Kingdom living. Yes, by all means, we need to be encouraged but our gatherings must go far beyond that.
I encourage you to read and pray through Matthew 20: 1 to 15. Pray in the lines that the church will be accountable and responsible. It will be a place where truth is taught. People that will attend will be trained and developed in the Word of God. They will be equipped so that it becomes a powerful army that will continue to be mobilised and deployed to do the work of the Lord.
