WALK TO EMMAUS

Come let us talk as we walk along this road,
you need to share, empty your heart
of its heavy load. His brother turned
to him and said. "I believed in Him you know.
Yes brother, now dont you cry, to rescue Jesus
from the cross there was nothing we could do.
the authorities hated Him, and others will
come pretending to be Him this I know.
He had words of life and healing and
His disciples loved Him so.
Suddenly Jesus was walking beside them
but they did not reconize Him, He said to
them, "why are you in such deep sorrow".
they did not know where to begin.
"Are you the only one who knows not
of Jesus, a prophet a holy man, healed the
sick cast out demons spoke of heaven,
peace within. we thought He would rescue
Israel from Rome. Now His body is missing
from the tomb, we were told He is alive
but this we cannot see. Jesus answered
You are so foolish, what you find hard
to believe, the Prophets spoke clearly
of Him who was to come to be,
that He must suffer all this,
