Hello Everyone;
[Matthew 14: 25]
And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea. 26 But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, saying, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out for fear. 27 But immediately he spoke to them, saying, "Take heart, it is I; have no fear." 28 And Peter answered him, "Lord, if it is you, bid me come to you on the water." 29 He said, "Come." So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus; 30 but when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, "Lord, save me." 31 Jesus immediately reached out his hand and caught him, saying to him, "O man of little faith, why did you doubt?"

Starting a home church or any other work for God will encounter similar emotions as Peter. When God appoints the desire he installs in us, We doubt our qualifications and God's bidding. Next we require proof. God confirms his approval and we respond, sometimes we react. At this point we focus our little faith on Gods purpose and step out of our boat onto the water. We start to do something many organized church denominations frown upon, Next we doubt our selvs and God,s approval just as Peter did What happened? Ryan has rightly stated that doing a work for God is a process. The process is the Wind. To focus on the wind is to loose sight of our purpose of bringing people to Christ.It is like when we were just learning to drive a car. So many gadgets and so few hands and feet. After we learned the process of driving, It is easy to focus on our purpose, which to get from point A to point B.

So what is the point? Learn the process, Do your best to focus on your purpose. If you start to sink,Scream until you turn purple "SAVE ME LORD",If the Lord ask why did you Doubt? He is not looking for information, He wants you to understand your answer so your faith will grow. What ever you do or do not do DONT QUIT. until you have God,s bidding. Because of all your efforts by all of you on SimpleChurch.Com, only God knows how many will find salvation,rest healing, and peace for their souls.God Bless.

As I read your blog, what comes to mind is that house church/ simple church is somehow out of the usual/ordinary. Like walking on water is out of the ordinary to life. But in the Kingdom, walking on water is a way of life. So in Kingdom living, it is not about how to have meetings differently but about reproduction. It is about how life in the Kingdom really is. Maybe if we "walked on water" all the time, it wouldn't be so hard.

I don' t really think that our faith grows, but that we come to greater understanding (maturity) of how to get our kingdom of darkness thinking, our human limitations and unbelief out of the way and have Rom. 12:1-2 renewed minds that have a different way of looking at that water. "Ahah, look water! Let's go for a walk!"
