Hi Tom,
No worries! I've been too busy here lately anyway.
Unfortunately, I'm going to be in Aiken on Mon-Wed of next week, for a conference w/ Ken Callahan. I would love to meet w/ y'all that day, and I look forward to the big gathering!
Hey Tom,
Sorry I have taken so long replying. Tricia and I have been talking about April 4th. We are trying to work it out so that we can come.
Our group has been together since 2001 in some capacity. We have done the High School, the storefront and the Coffee House.
We, as a group, are convinced that we have foun
Sorry . . . I am experiencing technical difficulties!
. . . found where we were meant to be. We have been through a lot together and it has made us a very close family. We are a very small group in a very rural area. Our journey has been fun and exciting . . . and interesting to say the least. We gather asking God to lead our time together and our lives in the world each day.
I really hope that we can come on April 4th so that we can fill in some of the details.
Hey Tom,
It looks like we will be able to make it on April 4th. It will be Tricia, Breann, and myself. Is it alright to invite others from our group or is space limited?
Sorry, I kept getting interrupted this morning. Tomorrow or Thursday lunch looks good to me. Whichever is good for you. I don't remember where you are; I am in West Columbia, so anywhere downtown or West is fine for me. Harbison is a little farther, but still OK, if that is closer for you.
Tom, we expect to be there. I just got on with the Census and there is a possibility that might interfer, but we will let you know if we aren't going to make it.
I really enjoyed joining you for lunch, even if I had a hard time finding Atlanta Bread! (When did Rising High close?) Luckily, Main St is not that long.
Apartment Life really sounds like a great idea; I'll be praying for you and your family in that.
Hi Tom,
The April 4th gathering sounds really interesting. My wife, Doris, and I are planning to come. We live in Hilton Head and have been looking for house churches in our area. This seems like a good way to meet people. We are planning to bring a friend, hope that's alright.
Am I correct in believing the Harbison Blvd.exit is the exit for the Mall? If so, where is Panera Bread from the exit?
We're looking forward to meeting you and others, and maybe some other folks from our area.
See you on Saturday the 4th.
We had a great time too. Bethany and Justin will be moving this weekend. They are excited and their first day on the job will be April 4th. We are looking forward toseeing youguys on the 4th.
We have run into some problems concerning the 4th. It looks like we will have to miss this time. We were really looking forward to fellowshipping and worshipping with you guys. Sorry . . .
tom, i will be busy friday at lunch but i am interested in meeting like tomorrow evening or when ever is convenient for you since i live in west columbia. please emil me back .
God bless
ron
Tom, It's really OK. I have been endeavoring to run through the day in my mind, and it is quite possibly that the shorter the better will be the case come the time downtown later in the afternoon.
In short, I plan to read Romans 6:1-18 myself, have a handout that offers concise points from that reading, and then open it for questions or discussion as quickly as possible.
There is one sense at least in which the best time for any of us to use our minds in serious thinking is in the early part of the day when our energy is up. Anyway, my prayer now is that many will overcome their fear of a 'takeover' again to make the effort and come.
For your information, I am (and have been for too long) working on a paper having to do with this very subject, i.e. not going to church while at the same time being a committed follower of the Lord Jesus. Thankfully, God does not abandon us the way some churches do. He abides faithful and doesn't condemn us.
I have everything that I need. If there is some system in the place that is easy to walk up to and use I will leave some of my stuff in the van. Otherwise I will be OK and we will have a mic for people to share through. Looking forward to it, too.

Either Wed or Thurs looks good, but let me check my calendar tomorrow morning, OK? I'll send you a note as early as I can.
Thanks!
