Seaside. A 100 miles and almost 2 hrs from my door. We were going there once a month to see my mother-in-law until we moved her here to Lincoln City. Newport is 35 miles from my door to the courthouse. I had jury duty.
I keep looking for Oregon Simple Church people. Dan Chojnacki in Seaside, & you in Newport. The first “coasties” I have seen. Great! We went to the Dallas group 2 times back in 04 or 05, but that too can add up to a lot of gas. That group was “started” by the Salem fellowship, (Nate & Joann Krupp). My wife works the week ends, so we didn't participate at either groups, but fellowship is really necessary. So we figured we were in the desert although it rains at least 125+ inches a year here in Rose Lodge where we live.

Dear Andrea Lemelin: Sure, we can get together anytime. We come to Newport fairly often for a break from LC life. We have so many photos now of the trips down there, but maybe there will be a better shot with the next one we take. Do you have friends who have left the IC and are looking for a OC family? We have been to 3 churches in LC, once. There must be many around here who are "out" of church and are not doing much, like us.
I tried to send you a message via your email with my ph# but it did not work.
Thanks for requesting our frindship on Simple church. It was nice to talk with you via phone and we understand your desire for organic Christian fellowship. All of those who have yerned for this are trying to find their place in these isolated fellowships but seem to be unsuccessful to date. This may change as we see the need for underground activity with the death spiral of the organized religion.
You are always welcome to visit us in Kelso any time. We meet on Sunday mornings for paise and worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in our home (we can send you a map). Please call ahead. Don't expect anything similar to the Liodician church for we are very simple. We have coined a saying:
Religion is man's plan for God.
God's plan for man is a relationship.
We are stiving to make that relationship through His Word and fellowship.
