Hi Peter,

Good to hear from you. Tell us a bit more about yourself.

At the moment we haven't got a group as such but we have friends who have left "church" & we meet together occasionaly for fellowship over a meal. We are waiting to see what God says & does as we don't want to rush into anything & then have it go pear-shaped.

Be in touch.

Yours,

David

Hi Peter
Thanks for the invite to become a friend. I have just had a quick look at your blog - very impressive. You are obviously young people with a heart for God!!
All that energy and enthusiasm made me wish your family lived close to me!!
I noticed you have made contact with Steve from Manchester - he was looking for information about house groups within his area.
May your ministry be Spirit filled and always remain so.

yes :)
in the real, basic, definition of simple church

am/are I/we in an organised gathering?
no [not anymore]
people have done hit and run/hit and miss, mission round here in the past, but not been willing to live here incarnationally
and we are about to give up too [but after 24 years, not 3 months]

There are a few gathersing in the borders region. There is a sense of expectancy. Even some well established churches praying how do they increase their footprint in the area of simple gatherings with new believers. Very encouraging signs.

"Such a shame to give up after so many years! "

Ok, got brief hope that someone might grasp the situation
apparently not [youngsters again]

just know this
no-one is gioving up on Him, or the Church [and that is REAL Simple Church]

it is just sad that things need spelling out

please learn from what I have said

I am not being nasty or anything, but have perhaps been like you, very much in the past

just keep learning, keep growing
keep studying
and, above all, learn love that actually 'listens'

Hi Pete,

I think you emailed us eariler in our stay and were most helpful in putting us on to a church in Chigwell and one at Tower Hamlet. We met with both. We now only have 2 weeks left here though one of those weeks Graham is studying for exams and the next we are in Southampton. We appreciate you contacting us again.

Blessings to you,
Teena and for Graham
