I follow your thought that "as He is, so we are in the world." Indeed, as those in whom He dwells, and as those who are one with Him, and in Him, we are to be like Him, and to be so one with Him, so full of Him, that He is living through us. This is a wonderful reality.

I think that I also understand you to be saying that we are to be christs, saviours, in our various contexts. But do you understand that we cannot be saviours in the same way that Christ is? Only He is saviour in the sense of opening access to God for us, by His substitutionary death, because only He was without sin, only He could fully satisfy God as a perfect sacrifice and great high priest and king before whom all shall bow in heaven and on earth. So the way that we are as He, has this major distinction, right? We can be instrumental in bringing His impact into our various contexts, and be part of the rescue operation, but we cannot be the ultimate reconciler of man to God. What do you think of the distinction that I am expressing? I'm saying that in some ways we are rescuers, but even in those ways that we are rescuers, our impact is only through Christ who is in us,and through the powerful effects of His salvation. He is the Saviour. Whatever rescues come through us, in the sense of participating in the movement of people toward Christ and being vessels of His goodness, are achieved only through Christ who is alone the Saviour of the world. Are we on the same page?
