But speaking the truth in love, the two sides of the cross, the punishment due to the guilty, and yet the mercy that he went in my place that he might reconcile the broken law, and preach peace to you who were a far off to draw us to himself by the great demonstration of love, real love, God's love.  Blessed Saviour!

The simplest message that every Christian should hear.

because as He is, so are we in this world.

We are really not meant to be called Christians but christs or son of man - the true image of man

Just-Joe, I agree that wearing the label of "Christian" is somewhat problematic, because it appears to be an identification with Christianity as a religion, which,in turn, means identification with all that has been said and done and built "in the name of Christ", whether good or not good. Also, in many countries, "Christian" is the term given to anyone who is not Buddhist, Hindu, Moslem -- whether they are true followers of Christ or not. So, yes, that term "Christian" is not necessarily the best word to capture who a person in Christ is. However, there are many who think that the Biblical use of the term "Christian" to identify followers of Christ ( Acts 11:26; Acts 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16) is reason for us to use the term for ourselves. It's never commanded, but it is practiced -- even though it is usually used in scripture by others who are opposed to Christ.

I am interested to learn why you think "christs" or "son of man" are legitimate terms for disciples of Christ to use for themselves.

1. Jesus came to redeem the image of man and bring it back to where it was

Man - Adam is created in the true image of God

God is restoring the fallen man to be Man (Image and likeness of God)

That is why I believe Jesus Christ is called son of man(meaning the true expression of man)

2. Christ means messiah

Messiah means savior

Jesus was the name given to Him not Christ.

But man was expecting Christ who will come out of Zion

and therefore man who loves title or to be tagged called Him Christ Jesus

but surprisingly Christ Jesus wants us to be christs also I mean saviors

Obadiah 21 says And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

Therefore as He is, so are we in this world

As He is the Son of God so we the sons of God

As He is the King of kings so we are too in this world

As He is the Savior of the world so we are saviors in this world

so we are christs, so we are man (not beasts) - the true image of God.

Saviors in business, politics, entertainment, fashion to reveal christ in all things.

Where there is neither Jew nor Aramaean, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision, neither Greeks nor Barbarians, neither Servant nor Freeman, but The Messiah is all and in every person. Collosians 3:11

Be christ

your segregation from another shows you are confused and don't understand what Jesus came to do

Yes, Just-Joe, that would, indeed, be your version, rather than what is in the scripture! Why do you think that there is legitimacy in thinking that "Christ is in every person"? In the same letter, does not Paul make it clear that there is a distinction between being in Christ and not in Christ? See Colossians 1:13 "He delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the knigdom of His beloved Son ..." (not my version!). There are those who are in darkness, and those who are within the kingdom of the Son, right? Why would we think that those who worship gods other than the eternal "Word who became flesh and dwelled among us" (John 1:1 & 14) would be included in the kingdom of the Son? Do you think that all who are on earth, are in Christ? If so, why do you think so?

Sincerely I love you sir.

Pls sir, not so.

Any word of Faith from you is scripture not just only what is written in the bible.

I don't mean every one in the world are in christ. But Christ is in them waiting for when they would find Him. Kindly meditate on Col.3:11 in different versions

I only meant that Christ can be revealed to you, and can know as your are known regardless of your religion including Christianity
