The lyrics speak it all regarding the "pioneers" of this move of God. There is no map. We can't look back. The wilderness pathway is calling us to keep pushing through.

Yea Katie. I heard this song at a gathering of the early pioneers of Jesus music. It's a two DVD set and it's awesome. Tears are streaming down Barry McGuires cheeks in hearing the lyrics of this song. Randy Stonehill is sitting there and says, "Well, let's go home. We're done." If you get a chance, I think you would enjoy the music of this get-to-gether. It comes with two DVD's of the get-to-gether and two CD's of just the music. You can order it at ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1229650391&sr=8-2 or

I think these lyrics are an anthem of those who are venturing out of the IC to pioneer simple churches. Also the documentary has a tribute to Keith Green that is wonderful, narrated by Melody. It also goes into the personal stories of many of these musicians and where they were and what they were doing when Jesus got a hold of them and transformed their lives.

John Fischer sings this song, "I'm So Glad Jesus Loves Even Me." I love that song and has turned into one of my favorites that we sing in our gatherings. And Annie Herring sings a song that just takes you into His Presence in such a vivid way. Anyway, excuse my unbridaled enthusiasm here, but for those of us who were experiencing God's own brand of evangelism in the 70s, this is wonderful to watch.

Wow, does that take me back 30 some years! We saw Honeytree in concert when she opened for Phil Keggy. We had our firstborn with us. She was only about 6 months old then. Now she is 31.

I like the song. I'd like to put it on my page.
